Refund Policy

1. Overview
BugsPulse offers a Free plan so you can evaluate the product before paying for anything. This policy explains how charges, cancellations, and refunds work for our paid Pro and Growth plans, billed via Stripe.
2. Subscription Charges
Pro and Growth plans are billed in advance, either monthly or annually depending on the billing cycle you choose at checkout. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.
3. General Policy: No Refunds for Partial Periods
Subscription fees are non-refundable, and we do not provide refunds or credits for partially used monthly or annual billing periods. When you cancel, you keep access to your paid plan until the end of the period you've already paid for, and your account is then downgraded to the Free plan — you will not be charged again.
4. Exceptions
We will issue a refund in the following cases:
- Duplicate charges — if you were accidentally billed twice for the same period
- Billing errors — if you were charged the wrong amount due to an error on our part
- Unauthorized charges — if a charge was made to your account without your authorization
To request a refund under any of these exceptions, email [email protected] within 30 days of the charge with your account email and the invoice in question. We review every request and aim to respond within 3 business days.
5. Upgrades & Downgrades
If you upgrade plans mid-cycle, Stripe will prorate the difference and charge you immediately for the remainder of the current period. If you downgrade, the change takes effect at the start of your next billing period — we don't issue partial refunds for the time already paid on the higher plan.
6. Failed Payments
If a renewal payment fails, Stripe will retry the charge automatically over the following days. If payment continues to fail, your account will be downgraded to the Free plan and any sessions beyond the Free plan limits will stop being recorded until you update your payment method and resubscribe.
7. Cancellations
You can cancel your subscription at any time from the billing portal in your account settings. There are no cancellation fees. See our Terms of Service for what happens to your data after cancellation.
